About the Event

Black Dads Count is a collaborative effort led by Fathers Incorporated to galvanize Black Fathers and ensure they are counted in the 2020 U.S. Census efforts. The census is a count of every person who lives in the United States and its territories. It happens every 10 years. In early 2020, you will be asked to count everyone who lives in your home as of April 1. Responding to the 2020 Census is a chance to shape your future.

It's important to understand that while we have responsibility for our own civic actions and engagement, that there are structural realities created and designed to limit our voices. It's critical that we not let those things serve as or motivate excuses for us not showing up.
